Q. Do you go to Brannon Crossing?
A. JessLex makes a regularly scheduled stop at Baptist Health Urgent Care Lexington-Brannon Crossing which is an easy walk to anywhere in the Brannon Crossing shopping area. We can deviate to a nearby location with a 24 hour notice. See here for more information on deviations.
Q. Can I be picked up at my house?
A. With a 24 hour advance notice, JessLex does make deviations within ½ mile of a published stop. Learn more about deviations here.
Q. When can I ride JessLex?
A. Our pick up times are around 10AM, Noon and 2PM with a 24 hour advance reservation.

Q. How much does JessLex cost?
A. JessLex charges $5.00 for a round trip. This same fare applies to stops at Brannon Crossing. Veterans always ride free with a valid military ID.
Q. It is time for JessLex to be here, why is it not here?
A. Actual times may vary due to traffic conditions, weather, and other unavoidable factors. JessLex will never leave a scheduled stop early.
Q. I am on a government funded medical program. Is my JessLex ride paid by them?
A. Blue Grass Ultra-transit Service has paid medical transportation for State qualified Medicaid patients. JessLex is a public route that requires everyone to pay the published fares.
Q. How do I find the stops; I don’t see any bus stop signs?
A. To keep the cost of JessLex affordable and flexible, we chose to publish the stop locations with descriptions, on our website.
Q. Does JessLex offer discounted fares?
A. To make JessLex affordable, we have discounted the fare to the lowest possible price from the first ride. We do offer free transportation on JessLex to our veterans if they show a valid military ID.
Q. I am not a Senior Citizen; Can I ride JessLex?
A. JessLex is open to the public and yes, “Anyone Can Ride”.
Q. I am unable to walk up steps. I also use a wheelchair; can I ride JessLex?
A. Anyone can ride! JessLex is equipped with a lift so if you can’t manage steps or need to ride in a wheelchair, we will be happy to let you board and disembark on an ADA compliant lift. Your driver is always available to assist you getting on and off the bus.
Q. Can I bring my child?
A. Yes, you can bring your child. Standard fares apply. You are required to supply your own child seat(s).
